Beta download servers - resume ?

Russell

Does anyone know why the new MS download servers (download.windowsvista.com)
do not support Resume?
I have been trying to download the ISOs (both) with NetXfer but it bombs at
50 or 70+% and error cannot resume as server does not support resume after
broken link.

But that does not make any sense! Surely once you are downloading then it
should let you finish - I must have restarted about 5 times now and
downloaded at least 5 gig to no avail.

How do I get it - I have never been able to access the download web page,
only the link to the ISO using dl manager ?

Even if the download doesn't keep going for a while or is "suspended" - keep
it going - it'll download eventually ) Don't lose all the good work so
far - keeeep it running!

Thanks Tom. Things must be easing up a bit on the servers, it's Friday pm
(here in the UK).
I am dl using my dl manager which is at 61% now and I just tried the web
page again and got to the download page for the first time in 2 days!
Cheers.

The best thing i found. I was running Gentoo at the time and Windows xp
wasnt installed on my other drive. I used wget -c <link from ms for own
download manager>
It WILL resume, and often takes about like 4 times to complete. Im using
the Vista B2 right now. I love it. lol.

Well I started this thread, so I should close it.

I managed to download both ISO's last night with my download manager (never
got to use the MS one btw).
Good luck to everyone.
