It combines the multi-part downloads as they are collected, if complete. If
you have accounts at multiple servers it will collect the files parts from
which ever one has them which help in the download completion rate. On
partial downloads it will combine what it can and then I use (the hopefully
supplied PAR or PAR2 files) to finish repairing the corrupted download.
I use BNR3 along with QuickPar (and downloaded PAR or PAR2 files) to verify
downloads and repair those that might be corrupted.
The latest versions of BNR2 and BNR3 are the same as far as the user
interface is concerned but I think the BNR3 version uses the better data
base engine.
