best hard disk copy software

What is the best and FASTEST hard disk copy software? I need to replace my
little 80 gig primary boot disk with a 250 gig monster! I have tried
partition magic 8.0 and some others but they are soooooooo slooooooow.
What about Acronis? I hear good things about them....
I just need to replace my boot drive with a bigger one, sounds easy to me,
done it many times, but I am having major problems this time. I have my
optical disks hooked to all my primary (onboard) controller and the Hard
disks are hooked up to a pci ata133 controller. I think this may have
something to do with it..
Any help out there?

You're going to waste a lot more time trying
to find the fastest than you will ever save.

What about Acronis? I hear good things about them....

Its pretty decent, but since its linux based,
it can have problems with some hardware.

Cheapest is what comes with the drive -- eg. Western Digitals all have
downloadable software that'll do the dupe in minutes to a new drive
easily and safely.

Otherwise, my pick is Ghost 2003 or Partition Magic. Here, you can turn
off the verify after write feature which is probably what is slowing the
copy down by a lot. Also, turn off bad sector check and you'll be
suprised! you can dupe that 80gb in less than 30 min flat!
