Benefits of CLR 1.1 for hosting WebBrowser over 1.0sp2 ?

Hi,

I'm starting a new application that needs to host the WebBrowser
control, I just wondered if there is any benefit in using version 1.1
of the framework over 1.0sp2.

Any ideas about COM interop being improved, better MSHTML/WebBrowser
integration into the runtime, stability improvements etc. ?

Additionnaly, does anyone have any clue about if and when Microsoft
will release a .NET version of the WebBrowser ? I wouldn't like to
start programming the application and discover two months later that a
..NET Browser component is available as an upgrade.

Thank you.

I know of no web browser written in .NET that is in the works, so you do not
have to worry there. it will only make sense for downloading functionality,
like ActiveX, so it is not a high priority, IMHO.

1.1 is faster and more stable on the server side, but it will not help much
with the web browser control.
