I have WinXP Pro w/ SP2. Has anyone heard or experienced anything negative

Oh you mean Belarc and not Windows XP? <relief>.....
Does what it says on the tin....

no problem at all. in fact i copied the program folder with the shortcut file
to a thumb drive, modified the shortcut file properties, run the dll files
with regsrv32.exe and got it to run from the thumb drive! But it could not
generate the report but generate a bci file in one of the folders. the bic
file opens up a report nicely in a system with a belarc advisor installed.
Now i can audit any system from a thumb drive ....

hope this is useful to some ....
