Hello,

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-SZ230P running XP Professional Version 2002 Service
Pack 2.

Today I purchased a Memorex USB floppy drive. The drive itself says it is a
TEAC FD-09PUW, however.

The box and the TEAC webside say that the drive should be automatically
recognized once I plug it into the computer. It does recognize the drive, but
then it asks for a driver. However, there is no driver included, and
everywhere I have read states that XP should automatically recognize my
floppy drive and it should just work.

Does anyone have any opinion

Use the "update driver" option
then opt to use windows update...
it may pick up the driver there

XP asks for USB drivers:
