Beeping

Last week so-ebody spilled pop o -y co-puter. Obviously not all of the keys
work, thus the dashes. Everything see-s to work properly, except the
keyboard: the keys stick. I already ordered a new keyboard, but do not have
it yet. But sice yesterday the co-puter has been beeping occasionally. The
beep co-es fro- the speakers, not inside the co-puter. It sounds like
"beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep." What could this be? Is so-ething da-aged
besides the keyboard? It is a Dell Inspiron, if that -atters. Thanks for your
help

Usually beeps are from the computer speaker and do so on start up,thier
error system beeps (hardware)...The computer mfg web site usually has
a code for them...Also,keyboards get abused all the time,to remove the cover,
giving you access to the sticky keys is a breeze to fix.Once the cover is
removed 8-12 screws, the keys come off with it(they dont drop out of place),
simply wash off, completly dry it (not easy),replace cover and youre set...

You might try posting this on the Dell support form for Insprions - you'll
get much more relevant info there, as this is most likely not a windows
issue.
