Beeping Speakers

Thanks, tried the suggestion, but still 'beeping.

1. Open control panel >system>Hardware tab>Device Manager

2. Click View >Show hidden Devices.

3. Expand "Non Plug and Play Devices"

4. Double click "Beep"

5. On the Driver Tab set the "startup" type to "Disabled"

6. Press OK and Reboot.

Mary, if the BEEP is really irritating, you can do one simple thing to stop it
permanently. Open the case, go to the small internal speaker and pull the
two wires off them and tape them up, not together.
