BCM Lost - Help Find!

Hi, I accidentally did a pc recovery on my notebook which removed all
installed programs but luckily didn't touch my data files. When i restalled
outlook w/bcm it couldn't find my database. Although, I back up my database
weekly, after searching the computer, all I can find are the .mdf and .ldf
files for it.

Are these enough to reinstall my database and if so, how do I do so? My
business depends on this information. I do have sql server mgmt studio
express but haven't got a clue how to use it -- plus it's not connecting to
any database, either.

Thanks for any insights and help given!

The mdf files are the database. Connect sql server mgmt studio to the
BCM sql instance (MSSMLBIZ), and then attach an mdf files to the
instance. The database should then show up in BCM.

Okay, I get what you say, but when i run sql srvr mgr it doesn't find the
database. I'm not familiar w/this program so when i run it and it says select
a server to connect to, i'm assuming that should be my notebook name. when i
do that, it comes up with an error message. anywhere i can find more on how
to use sql srvr mgr or is there something i'm not doing that is the problem?

Its probably trying to connect to the default sql instance on your
server. To tell it to connect to the BCM instance try connecting sql
mgmt studio to <your-server-name>\MSSMLBIZ or <your-server-name>,5356.
