Thank you, I have now updated BCM, saved data to .pst, successfully wrote the
file to a data cd. In order to transfer file to machine B I try to import and
it says file access is denied you do not have permission required to access
the file. I am the admistrator on both machines. When I exported from machine
A I did not use the password function at all I have not set up any passwords
for this file. Any ideas?

Are you trying to open the PST directly off the CD? PST files probably
require read and write access, in which case copt the file to the
harddisk first.

Thank you but for some reason I keep getting an error "cannot copy access is
denied" when trying to move or copy the file from the cd to my c drive

Hi Regina

The error message that you stated can only occur becasue of two reasons
either the pst file is corrupt or problem with the hard disc drive.Your
error seems to be related to the pst file. Can you try creating another copy
of the pst file from the computer on which the data resides. Also make sure
you can open the pst file in Outlook before you write it to the cd drive. If
you do not have the source computer then you may want to run a scan pst on
the same

Hope this helps

With Regards
