BCM account creation not getting linked into Accounting

I can not get a new account I create in Outlook 2007 to appear as a new
customer in Accouting 2008.

It works just fine the other way around, if I create a new customer in
Accounting, it appears as a new account in BCM. But, that is not how BCM says
it is to be.

In the help file, it saya when you create a new account, it should prompt
you to "link to account", I never get that prompt.

The step you might be needign is to attach the "link to accounting" button in
the shortcuts bar.... however

I am also going nuts trying to link BCM with MS Accounting... I am using the
same sql and have successfully linked MS Accounting in the BCM database
HOWEVER! when I open an account in BCM and click the link to accounting
button the following appears -

"The operation your equested could not be completed. This Business Contact
Manager in no longer financially integrated. Please close this inspector and
reopen it."

I have confirmed the MS Accounting see the BCM and the BCM is connected to
an accounting system????

Can someone pleeeaase help me!

Thanks heaps

It's hard to know what went wrong, but if you integrated with BCM from
Accounting 2008, then all Accounts in BCM are automatically Customers
in Accounting - you shouldn't see a button to "link to account". I
think that should only show up when you integrate BCM with earlier
version of Accounting, when Accounts and Customers were individually
linked.

Thanks for responding... these are the steps i took

Installed Accounting 2008 Pro... customised setup to link to smallbiz sql...
set up company in Accounting... went to company tab... integrate with BCM ...
selected BCM database... followed the steps... it integrated.

Following this no accounts/customers have appeared in Accounting 2008... if
I prodcue an customer in Accounting 08 it appears in BCM as an account
however not the other way around? Also if I create a vendor in Accounting it
does not apear in BCM?

Appreciate any advice..
Cam
