Battlefield 1942 doesn`t install

I went to Game Adviser and it said I could install Battlefield 1942, so I downloaded the trial verson of Patch. Now after I downloaded the game, it will not install. I get a Setup couldn`t Find A Battlefield 1942 Installation message. How in the world can I now install it. Thanks.

Hi Gary,

Is this issue about a patch that will not detect the Trial Version of the game?
It is normal that patches and updates will not recognise trial versions. They
are written for the full retail versions of the games only in most circumstances.

Hi Gary,

Or perhaps you downloaded only the patch and not the trial of the game?
