Battery will not charge! Help please!!!

Ok, so I let my battery run down to 4% before I plugged
my laptop in. Once I plugged it in the low battery
warnings stopped but it will not charge. The little icon
in the taskbar still says 4%. Even when I start it up it
has low battery warnings. The computer stays on though
once its plugged in but when I unplug it, it just starts
at 4% and so it shuts down on me. I don't know what to
do. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!!

When your flashlight don't work, what is the first thing you think is wrong?

Either the internal charger circuits are damaged and
won't allow a charge, or the battery itself is bad. I'd
try either a new battery, or contact the manufacturer and
see if they can help.
