"battery problem " solved?

Hello, I'm new to this.

I heard that with 2003 if your battery was too long empty, it had the
same result as hard reset.
Is this solved with windows mobile 5 and the new devices. Is there some
storage for apps?

WM 5.0 uses ROM storage, so yes, it is largely solved.
