Battery power

I have a laptop and the brightness is perfect when it is
plugged in, but when I unplug it it gets way too dard and
I can hardly see. Is there any way to change it so it
does not get darker when I go to battery power? Thanks!

This is normal as your laptop makes every effort to conserve energy while on
your battery. In addition to what Rocket suggested, you should take a look
at the brightness setting and see if you can't tweak it up a bit. Keep in
mind that you don't want to overcome the benifit of this conservation method
by turning it up too high.

If you don't know how to adjust the brightness, consult your user's manual.
Most laptop brightness adjustments are made by hitting an "Fn" or Function
key in combination with another key on your keyboard. The other key
normally has a brightness icon on it.

Good Luck
