battery indicator icon doesn't show

I have a laptop and the battery indicator icon wouldn't
show up on the taskbar. Is there any way to fix this?
I've checked off the check mark from Power Options and
still wouldn't work. Thanks~

On my Toshiba laptop in the Toshiba Power Options control panel applet,
there is an option to always put the icon in the task bar, and it needs
to be checked "on", not "off".

Take another look at the program for power management installed by the
laptop vendor on your computer. Look at the document ion (paper or
electronic file) provided by your laptop vendor. Seek more help from
the laptop vendor, if above fails.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

On my laptop it only shows when I run as a user with full Administrative
access rights. On my default setting of Limited User its not there.

Does anyone know of a way to show it in both cases.

I just figured out a way to fix this problem.
From Control Panel go to Taskbar and Start menu and from
there, click customize...there, you'll see some sort of
battery charging icon, cick that and set always show
instead of hide when inactive or always hide.

I guess the reason why it didn't show was because it was
set to be hidden.

good luck!!
