Battery Alarm

I got a new Toshiba laptop that runs Vista. My problem is that my battery
alarms haven't worked since I got it. Any Ideas?

This is directly related to Toshiba's power management software or if
they didn't create power management software for Vista (they did on
their laptops running XP), there is a problem with the Vista power
management functions. The operative words here are "new laptop". Contact
Toshiba tech support immediately.
