Screen Saver will not kick in

Bob from down under

Despite numerous setting changes, the screen saver will not cut in, I am
using Toshiba laptop Vista Home Premium with all updates, running on power
or battery. Any Ideas?

Hi,

1) Has the screen saver ever worked? Does preview work?
2) Have you tried the SS with simple settings such as Windows Logo and 5
minutes to turn on? Does that work?
3) Have you checked all your power settings including advanced power
settings in regards to the disk drive turning off?

Assuming that you've tested all the above and none of your power settings
are stopping SS, then my next suggestion is to check out this website:
