Bar at bottom of browser

Simple problem. The bar at the bottom of internet
explorer (the one that tells you what the url of a link
is if you pass the mouse over it; shows how much of a
page as been opened; shows if a page is secure or not,
etc.) has disappeared and I don't know how to get it
back. I have windows XP and other users still have this
bar. Any help on how to get it back would be helpful.

Go to VIEW and click on STATUS BAR. The bar will reappear.
