Banner Ad links in FP2003, missing one forward slash

I am attempting to add merchant links to a web site I am building as an
Affiliate. However when I copy and paste the link issued by Commission
Junction into the address box in Edit Hyperlink and save it, one of the
forward slashes after http: vanishes and additional code is added. Instead
of: a href="http://www. it becomes: a%20href=%22http:/www. I am adding this
link in Hyperlink Properties after I have associated a gif image to it. If I
add the link to Default Hyperlink in Picture Properties, no additional code
is added, but the second forward slash still disappears becoming: a
href="http:/www. and then I get an error message telling me there is a
problem with my link as it should be http://www. (Well duh, I know that.)
Anyway if anyone know the answer to this, please advise if I should be adding
this type of link in a different area, or other advice on how to fix this.

Paste into notepad first, then paste into HTML/Code view.

Where can i find "bCentral Web Components" to add to Frontpage 2003? As i
want ot access commission junction from within frontpage.

Quoting what CJ say:" ACCESS ADVERTISER LINKS WITHIN FRONTPAGE
by Commission Junction

Publishers using FrontPage 2002 can easily access the Commission Junction
network and advertising links without leaving the design of their site,
allowing them to launch performance-based programs more effectively.

Getting Started
To access the integrated Commission Junction interface, simply perform the
following sequence of menu commands within FrontPage:

Click on the "Insert" menu.
Select "Web Component".
In the "Component Type" column, select "bCentral Web Components". "Choose a
bCentral Component" will appear on the right side of the window.
In the "Choose a bCentral Component" area, select "Revenue Avenue affiliate
link" and click "Finish." end of quote
