bandwidth usage

hi guys, i am bit less computer literate, i have broadband connection
at home ,since the past two months MY BROADBAND USAGE HAS RISEN TO
2000MB PER MONTH WHEREAS BEFORE THAT I ONLY USE MAXIMUM 200 MB PER
MONTH,THE MAIN THING IS THAT I NEVER USE COMPUTER BUT STILL THE USAGE
IS TOO HIGH, THERE IS NO HACKER AND NO ONE IS USING COMPUTER EXCEPT ME,

i HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION IN MY COMPUTER, CAN YOU GUYS HELP ME

have you scanned for viruses and spy ware etc.
if your not using the computer to download something or someone must be
(logic - I fill my petrol tank up in my car every week but I don't drive any
where)

do you have a firewall on your pc or antivirus etc?

what processes are running on the task manager?
