Bad_Pool_Header

I use my main PC to drive a wi-fi network. When I try and access certain
files on my main PC from my Wi-fi laptopI get the Blue Screen and the
Bad_Pool_Header message.

Any ideas on what to do. I've not installed anything new and its simply
started to happen. I'm not a real wizard but can do some reasonably
complicated things. The other threads on this topic do not seem to point out
the solution(as far as I can understand !)
