bad performance

windows is running programs slow expecially aol and
printer and when i try to uninstall programs they come
back. only one program running alsoand i am
defragmented. whats wrong

Start by downloading Adaware and / or update Reference file from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
and use it to remove parasites.

What processor speed? How much RAM memory?

Are you allowing Windows to manage your virtual memory? Have you installed any memory boosters or the like? These can be counter productive!

How good is your housekeeping?

1. In Outlook Express empty your Deleted Items folder.

2. In Outlook Express run File, Folder, Compact All whilst OFFLINE.

3. Run Disk Cleanup. Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.

4. Empty Recycle Bin.

5. Run Disk Defragmenter.
