Backup

I'm sorry. My hard drive is not completely gone. My live tv freezes after
about a minute. Diagnostics (and Sony support) says the hard drive is 'going
out' and they are replacing it in a few days. Everything else, internet,
recorded programs, etc... works fine. Support says that the drive could
completely go bad at any time.

So, any ideas about how to backup my 'favorites' in Internet Explorer?

start/run, type:
HH mkMSITStore:%windir%\Help\iexplore.chm::/sharefav.htm

In IE go to File-Import and Export, export Favorites to a file and then copy
that file to removable media....
