Our Dat backup drive is no longer working. We are running Windows 2000
Server. What is everyone using for backup these days, software and
hardware?

It depends on your budget and the amount of data you need to
backup up. My personal preference is for external 2.5" disks
in USB cases for up to 50 GBytes, using ntbackup.exe or
xcopy.exe. I consider small tape drives to be too slow and too
unreliable.
