I am wondering is it possible to put a button on the switchboard, so that
when its pressed it will do a backup? Is this possible and if so, how would
I go about achieving this?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Kerry.
I am wondering is it possible to put a button on the switchboard, so that
when its pressed it will do a backup?

It's possible, but make sure that the backup being made is for a database
that is completely closed, not the current database. The reason one doesn't
want to make a copy of an Access database while it is open is the
opportunity for data inconsistency and file corruption. If this is going to
be a backup that may need to be relied upon in a future emergency, one wants
the best chance for success that the file will actually open and have
consistent data.

Hi, Kerry.
Seems to be working okay, not sure how reliable it is though.

There are tons of Access database recovery services available. We thank you
for keeping us in business!

Have a great day!
