I am attempting to back up to my d: drive (CD) and the
wizard asks for a file name ...but won't accept any name
I insert. Is there some trick to this?? It does accept
the D:/ in the location position above.

You can not backup to CDRW with NTBackup. You would have to backup to a
file and burn that file to CD.

The use of the forward slash may be a problem. Also try backing up to fixed
disk then burn the file to CD-Rom.
