Backup utility does not read file

T

Trevor

Every day my system is set up to do an automatic backup of selected folders
on my C: drive. The backup file "backup.bkf" resides on my D: drive.

Now when I want to restore from it, the windows XP Pro backup utility
reports that the data cannot be read.

What can the problem be?

TIA

Possibly a corrupt file. If that is the case there isn't anything that can
be done to recover it that I am aware of. However you might try downloading
a 30 day trial version of Backup My PC and see if it will open the file.
