Backup to FTP

P

Pall

When I schedule a backup, I would like to specify the
destination as an FTP site. When setting up the backup, I
choose the FTP connection I have setup in my Network
Places, but none of the folders within the ftp site come
up and it basically freezes. Windows will not let me
specify the FTProot as the destination. Logging into the
FTP site is no problem as I can do this from my Network
Places dialog box.

Please respond by email.

Respond by e-mail? Not a chance. Why should you get individual tech
support here, in a peer-to-peer public newsgroup?

I might have given you a little help, but have decided you need to
email ME your question. Oh, and I'm not giving you my correct email
address.

Oh, and BTW, you can expect to get tons of spam if your correct email
address is in your headers. Spammers have a field day harvesting
email addresses from newsgroups.

you're a jackass... thanks for all the wonderful help...
No problem.

Let's see your social problems, though:

1. Posting using a CDO web interface (weak).
2. Top posting (weak)
3. Expecting one-on-one support in a peer group (weak)
4. Name calling (weak)
5. Posting using your real e-mail address (just plain stupid).

Hmm. I wonder who the jackass really is here.
