Backup the event viewer files via command line?

Hi everyone -

I need to backup the event viewer files via a command line...

i will use run to kick it off - but i need to back them up first,
then - i would also like to delete/truncate them

is this possible...

Take a look at PsLogList which is free from SysInternals. It gives you many
options to backup event logs. --- Steve

and i grabbed a couple of the samples...

but what do i save the filename as???

I am trying the VB samples....
