backup restore

So I am doing a security disk wipe of a particular folder but it has to
turn off restore because there are .exe files in the folder being wiped.
Is there a way to copy the restore files to another folder than turn
restore back on and copy the files back to the restore folder when the
security wipe is finished?

Hi John,

No, this will not work. Doing so would surly corrupt the existing
restore points.

A work around for the future would be to install the application on an
alternative partition which is not set be monitored by System Restore
