HOw (which files/folders)do i back up my Dc so a restore
can bring me back with no hustle.

Can i restore a win2k3 server backup on a win2k system?
 
Use system state option in ntbackup to backup system information for
possible recovery. With this you also have to backup any other applications
that you are running on the server. You can not restore a system stare
backup from windws server 2003 to windows 2000 server.
