backup query

i'm trying to do an image backup in vista business. it tells me the
destination disk is not ntfs. Is this right? If i make this an ntfs disk it
restricts me from using it elsewhere.

Vista Business is NTFS file system
The Image Backup will be created with the same File system.
You can use an NTFS formatted disk on any OS that has a file systen in
NTFS...like XP but not below XP

Windows 2000 and NT 4 will also support NTFS.

With Acronis True Image you can explore the image and copy files from it
without restoring the entire image.
