backup outlook business contacts

I am trying to backup my businesss contacts in outlook to a flashdrive, the
backup is successful but when I try to open the files it wont open. It says
it cannot read the file. What am I doing wrong??

Depends how exactly you are backing up, and then how you are trying to open
the files.
