Backup of Windows mail

I would like to backup my e-mail messages (Windows mail in Vista) -
is it possible to include in the automatic Windows backup, and if so, how is
it done?

I haven't tried it but you can include the message store directory in the
backup and that would backup the messages. The location is found via Tools
| Options | Maintenance | Advanced | Store Folder. See also here for
