Backup in XP Home

XP Home does not include the Backup Utility by default, there is an article
on how to install this utility from the CD but most XP Home users have their
system pre-installed by their computer suppliers and are not supplied with a
real XP CD, merely a recovery CD.

Can us poor mortals without Install CDs get access to this Utility, and, is
it any good?

What backup medium do you intend to use?

CDRs, DVDR/RWs, spare partition on hard disk and possibly firewire attached
disk.

Your best bet is probably to use a batch file with a number of
xcopy.exe commands to back up your files. There is no need
to use ntbackup.exe.
