Which Favorites do you want to backup? Type Favorites in Start>Search>
Files and Folders and you'll find quite a few. If you want to backup your
Favorites from your browser, check with your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
to create a backup CD or copy the listing to a floppy using the PrintScreen
feature. Clarify your question, there are plenty of people reading these
posts
that will be glad to assist you.
If it were me, I would go to Documents and Settings and under the user name,
you should see Favorites. I would then zip the Favorites folder and save it
where I wanted it.

I was just now searching here for any advice on how to back-up favorites
before my computer gets over-hauled - here is what I found and just did - it
is simple and works: (I didn't find this info here, but from my brother, who
programs computers)

Import and Export
Next
Export Favorites
