BAckup, did i do it wrong?

Before formatiing and reinstalling windows, i exported to PST file. Now when
i try to get it back i cant. It doesnt import anything but some empty
folders, if i could just get the contatcs it would be great. Have tried to
import in numerous ways! Please help!!!

Assuming pst on hd, and read only off.
In OL File/Open/pst and browse to location.
Do not overwite any pst when copying to hd
