backup attempt thwarted

I looked up the directions to back up my computer, only to discover I have no
"backup" function listed under my system tools. Where might I download this?
I did have a crash a while back, which is why I decided to back up my
computer; perhaps the crash deleted my ability to back-up?

NTBACKUP is not installed by default in Windows XP Home:

If Windows XP Home is OEM, you may not have these files.
