Is there any way I can backup and later restore my
Outlook Contacts? I can export them, but it exports them
to a MS Excel file, and then importing them loses all the
group lists, and other information as well.

.
Click File/Import & Export/ in the box that appears,
highlight "export to a file" then click next/ in the file
type box, highlight "Personal Folder File (.pst)/ in the
box that appears hightlight "Contacts", click next/ in
the box that oppens browse to where you want to save the
file, and follow the prompts.
When you go to import them back, Click File/Import &
Export/ Import from another program or file/ Personal
Folder File (.pst)/ Then browse button untill you find
where you saved it.
You can save any or all of your outlook folders as a .pst
file, calendar/inbox/contacts/etc.
good luck,
trevor

Just save a copy of your PST. All done.
