Backing-up to CD

PC Advisor this month gave details of CD backup but I cannot see how I can
backup to a CD. My xp pro appears to allow me to backup to the A drive only,
how can I instruct it to backup to a CD? Many thanks for a prompt response.
 
Check the properties of your CD drive....it may be a Read Only. You need
one with Read/Write capability.
