backing up outlook mail for a reinstall

I am going to need to reinstall Office and that includes
Outlook. I need to back up my email so that I can put it
back into Outlook when I am done. How can I do this?

Do a search for a file called *.pst and copy that.

That's correct. It also includes your contacts.

It does NOT include any macros or customized toolbars, but you
probably don't have those. If you do, then do a web search or ask her
for the files to back up.
