Backing up Outlook 2003 email "history"

Evertime you type in an email address and send an email, Outlook 2003 keeps
track of the name. When you type the first couple letters of the name after
the initial time, it will auto-fill and complete the address or name.

I have noticed when a PC crashes this information doesn't get kept on the
Exchange server. Usually they lose the whole history of addresses.

Is there a way to export this to back it up?

If you enable roaming profiles for your domain user settings (including the
nk2-file which keeps the cache) will be copied to the server on logoff. When
you rebuild a computer the user will maintain all their settings.

I just found it:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\<profile_name>.NK2 if you use Outlook 2002/2003

Just copy the NK2-file. Note that it is tied to the user's mail profile so
if that goes lost it is worthless.
