Does anyone know if you can back-up emails in Outlook Express, preferably to CD.
I have important business information and do not want to lose it.
I have Windows Home XP edition.
thanks.

Yes. I do it all the time. I created a zip disk for this exercise. Each day
I copy all the changed mailboxes to the zip disk. I'm sure you can do this
same process to CD/RW media.

Try a google for "outlook express backup"...I use Outlook Express Backup 6.5
from GenieSoft, but there are more out there. It isn't free, but it sure is
easy.

You can highlight the emails in the inbox or sent folder and drag them
into a folder just like normal files. from there you can copy them to
CD or back them up like any other file.

Hope that helps

just use the export feature to restore you use the import feature
