BACKGROUND PROCESS APPEAR ON TASKBAR

I was using IE6 when I had a problem that a number of additional windows
appeared on the taskbar. I have since investigated these windows and they
seem to be background processes for applications I had running when IE6
crashed - has anyone seen this problem before and if so any ideas what caused
it?

What does this question have to do with the .NET Framework?

Try asking it in the microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.
