Background Noise

Has anyone noticed that after a while, your mouse moving around the screen
starts to make noise come out of the speakers, like it is bleading through?
I am an IT director for an office, and everytime I get a new machine, or
reinstall Windows from scratch, it goes away... Any idea what could be
causing this?

Some kind of JokeWare?

Sounds like you are getting infected from somewhere...
 
That or you have an inturupt problem. Try uninstalling the mouse and
rebooting and let XP find it and reinstall the software?

I've seen this occur due to mobile radio transmissions right outside my
building.
