back-up email in different subfolders seperately

hello folks

I have too many emails accumulated in some 50 subfolders in my outlook 2000.
I would like to back-up the content of different folders each onto different
cd's and return them to outlook at later times, AND to the folders of
different users on fifferent computers. possible. How please. i'd be forever
grateful -john of armidale
 
Whilst you can copy to cd, in order to view them in OL you would have to
copy back to hd, prior to opening in OL - all a bit tedious.
Why not use the archive feature?
You can then open/access the archive, in OL, any time you want.
PS OL2k has a 2gb size limit, problems often appear from 1.6gb
