Back up a data base

When I try to back up a data base to a CD-RW using File>Back up Database, I
get an error message which reads "Can not save file(file Name). The folder is
marked 'Read only"
This occurs with 3 differnt dbs even though none of them are "read only"

Can anybody help please as I MUST backup these records

I believe Access is complaining that it can't write to the CD-RW.

Try backing up to your hard drive, then dragging the file to the CD-RW.

Access probably doesn't know how to write to CD-RW.
