I'm having problems with HP Pavilion 7955 and Windows XP.
Message states: "The application or DLL C:\Program
Files\Viewpoint Experience
Technology\Components\VMAVideo.dll is not a valid Windows
image. Please check this against your installation
diskette." I am unable to sign on to AOL and cannot
restore to an earlier date or remove any programs. (Using
someone elses computer now.) Earlier I received a
message: The file or directory C:\Corel\Suite8\Shared is
corrupt and unreadable. Please run the chkdsk utility.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

your errors refer to third party software such as aol and corel? photodraw.

try re-installing them (uninstall them first.)
