avi dvd

Bought a new laptop two weeks ago. It run on Vista home premium...

I have an avi dvd that I want to run on the laptop.It is an excercise
program. Tai Che

it will run good on my old desktop that uses windows xp.

But Windows Vista Home Premium just wont let me run the avi dvd on
laptop.

any ideas for running this program. I did download the GOM decoder but
Vista home premium
won,t let me install it on the

I've never heard of GOM decoder so that's probably the problem. Try ffdshow
(google it), newest divx codec, or use vlc player (google it).

Hi,
Thanks for help,I did a re download for the GOM PLAYER installed it on
the laptop, the avi dvd disk works real good now
and I can do my Tai Che routine when I travel.
